Got a friend that knows nothing about computers that was able to get an intel 2.8 off a friend for 50 bucks. I always built amd systems and dont know much about intell boards.
He will mainly be using the computer for internet, music and such. Hes not a gamer. Needs an agp slot for future video card if wanted.
Whats some decent, stable, no frills boards that would do good for him.
I know asus, abit, gigabyte, msi, and dfi are all decent boards but what model numbers is where I need help with
I'd go with the Abit IS7. You can get reduced features with the IS7-E, but for the price difference I'd stick with the IS7 (around $90).
