I have a p3 866 1.7v proc here in a dead mainboard. I need a new mainboard, and I need it to be able to push this proc higher too! I need your opinions. What is the best motherboard for me? I have a stick of pc133 that I'd like to use too so no ddr, and no RD boards plz

BX chipsets offer the best performance, but if you really want to overclock, you'll want the i815. In spite of Tom's recommendations on the CUSL2 (I bought one based on his recommendations), I've had better luck with the similar Abit board (and no, I don't remember the model).

I'd been looking at the cusl2. I think I'll go with an 815 board, since the bx didn't support a fsb of 133 without overclocking the agp and pci bus. I want something stable. It doesn't really matter what specific board since it's hard to find them these days. :(

I get your point, but to be more specific, the BX did support a 1/4 PCI divider, I believe it was for compatability with older cards, but it wasn't supported by some clock generators.
