Do any of the front panel connectors (e.g. LED indicators, power switch etc)need to be oriented a certain way to work?

Thanks in advance. This is my first build so be gentle.

Switch, no. LED's maybe. Its safest to orient them properly anyways, based on the mobo manual.

If an LED doesn't appear to work, turn the connector around.

Light Emitting Diodes, like any diode, have extremely high resistance to current flow in one direction and much lower resistance in the other direction: they only light up when they're connected in the correct polarity.
