Has anyone had any experience with Clearwire fixed 'net access? It's the
thing in Jacksonville, FL and supposed to be coming to Abilene, TX (but the
company idiots never answer their email for confirmation). This Internet
access is through "cell phone" type towers and doesn't have the limitations
of the 2.4 or 5.8 GHz systems. Anyone???

No experience, but Googled up some stuff:

And all radio equipment has limitations, some more formidable than others.

Thanks for the info! Hopefully this will be a reality here in Abilene.
