Strange Problem

Recently, I bought this computer. Everything works great, but every now and then it gets... faulty?...

For example, the other day I turned on my computer and I had no sound at all. No sound drivers and my speakers/mic wasn't working. The only way to fix the problem was by unplugging my computer from the power outlet, and plugging it back in.

Another example, today, I turned on my computer and it wouldn't boot up. It told me there was no Operating System installed...
I had to unplug the power cables, and that fixed the problem.

It's not a big deal, but it does get annoying. Anyone have an idea what the problem could be?

System:
Windows 7 x64 Ultimate
MSI P45 Neo2FR Motherboard
Core 2 Quad 2.66ghz CPU
ATI HD 4890 GPU

I'd take it back to where you bought it. Could be fault hardware, psu, etc. Sounds like something isn't right.

Hopefully you have a warranty for it?

Agree with the first two.... definitely sounds like faulty hardware, most likely power supply IMO. Take it back and have the vendor sort it out.
