MSI neo-2 platinum compatibility issue with ATI?

Iv'e just bought a MSI 865PE Neo-2 Platinum board and i get alot of blue screens related to video card drivers... i've tried using catalyst 4.7 to recent 4.11 and it doesn't stop the blue screens...

Is there a way that ATI radeon cards are incompatible with MSI boards? (running a sapphire 9600XT 3 months old)

I have the latest INF drivers but not the latest BIOS version (running 3.8 most recent is 3.A) could this resolve my problems?

Get the latest BIOS and also try Catalyst 4.9. DO NOT LOAD CONTROL PANEL. The 4.9 drivers run great for everyone I know.

some versions of the BIOS had problems with X800 cards, maybe it can also affect the 9600 line.
