I have a razer death adder mouse. I want to get a 5ft usb extention cable so i can use it across the room (i know a wireless would be better) will getting the extention cable make the mouse lag or slow down?

I'm not sure... but it might, but it won't be as laggy as compared to a wireless mouse.

for a mouse, i don't think so; in my case i haven't had any issues with my G5 or G500 with using usb extensions; i have 2 extenders, one usb 2.0 and one usb (the 2.0 is needed for hard drives to not bottleneck the speed to a usb 2.0 port) Both extenders work well with both mice

I don't think there will be a delay in response time, but if you're worried about it, there's software out there to test it. I'll keep an eye out for it and post back if I come across it.

It won't slow down the mouse in any way. That's just you being paranoid.

If the extension is any good, then it should not cause any problem..
