i'm not sure if it's a mobo problem, but i guess it's combination of hardware and software errors. first of all, what i suffer is:

comp. gets crash when i run winamp, no problem with other media players.

when i run ares or limewire likely p2p sharing programs, i cannot run any media at all, only sometimes; no mp3 or video file with no program.

when i run that p2p programs, i cannot go to some web-sites, they open halfly.

i sweeped comp. with spy sweeper, nothing changed.
i see "winadalt" and "winadclt" on my tasklist, they come back when i end their tasks. it may look like a virus problem, but why cannot run mp3's or other media files then?

my system: via kt333 chipset MSIkt6v, lan-sound onboard.
2500xp, 512 mb ddr ram, windows 98 se.

(i formatted the whole hd, and reinstalled it, nothing changed)
please, urgent help!

from the problems you described it doesnt sound like hardware issues. your system is screwed up from too much junk. if i were you i would just do a reinstall.

Well, something in the list of stuff you install must be to blame. Stop using those P2P programs. There's alternatives that don't screw your PC up you know.

(hint: do a google search for 'Limewire spyware' and see what comes up  )

Use bittorrent instead.
