For Twinmos ram, would go with <A HREF="http://www.twinmos.com/dram/dram_p_twister_pro_dualchannel_ddr400.htm" target="_new">Twinmos Twister Pro DDR400</A> instead. Rated at DDR400 but capable of much more.

Get a 6600GT PCI-E and save some dough. Is the Phillips LCD the one with the 12ms refresh? You'll want 16ms or less. Get a real DVD Burner with the GPU savings.

Abit IS7 - 3.0C @ 3.6ghz - Mushkin PC4000 (2 X 512) - Sapphire 9800Pro - TT 420 watt Pure Power
Samsung 120gb ATA-100 - Maxtor 40gb ATA - 100
Sony DRU-510A - Yellowtail Merlot

Its got the 16ms response time, but im getting it at a ex demo price so its quite alot cheaper. I dont need a DVD burner at the moment, im waiting until they get a bit better, 'll upgrade it late next year probably.
I'll look into that RAM, i dont know much about it so i ust added on what my friend told me to.

Yeha i know the AMD will run cooler but i always been a fan of intel, and 2 of my best mates (one of whom is wuzy) are telling me to get it and the most important reason i need my computer by the 12/12/04 and theres a 2 to 4 week delay before the parts become avaliable in NZ from being released in the US so it might be a bit late for me :( also anyone knwo anythign about the Asus nForce4? is it better or worse or about the same?

Nforce4 = Cock Robin, or as you might say, "bloody fantastic". Get one if you can wait.
