I love it when I empty 3 shotgun rounds into an enemy with no effect. The hit detection in this game is terrible.

yeh i was playing that earlier and have to say i agree with you. Its a great game apart from that but i would have also liked to have seen a free roam feature as well.

Was going to buy this game but I heard the game mechanics kinda suck... graphics are quite good aparently.

I have had no issues with hit detection. Depending which part of the game you're in, the later baddies are significantly tougher and take at least 3 or 4 shots unless you can get headshots everytime.

I really really liked Metro 2033. Awesome game in everyway IMO.
