There must be some problem with the system clock because when I boot the system the year is always at 2002. The hours, minutes, day, month and all other setup settings are OK, but the year is always at 2002. I've changed the battery but it doensn't work. Any ideas why this is happening?

You change it to 2004, and upon reboot it defaults to 2002?

But all your other settings - i.e FSB are the same?

just trying to understand you post.

Yes. Keeps everything except the Year. Really odd,no??? The board is a DFI AD77-PRO. It has been phased out. I think that there is a serious problem with these boards.
No more DFI boards to me.
