Hi, Looking around most if not all PCI adapters say Win 98 SE as minimum
requirement, anyone know of any adapters that work fine with Windows 98
1st edition ?

Maybe....
if you don't already have one, plug in a pci or isa Ethernet nic
then feed it with an AP that optionally operates in client mode.
