PS3 Slim HDD upgrade can't install firmware

Hello,
Did someone know how to load the OS on the NEW PS3 I place a NEW HDD and the update doeasn't work

I've heard about this problem before...
What HDD are you using?? Might not be compatible with the ps3.

I thought you can't modify a ps3 because of all the safety set to protect it from being hacked.

Upgrading to a bigger HDD is normally a very easy process...
The only thing you have to do is changing the HDD. The ps3 OS will do the rest...

I finally fix it here is how I did it download the OS update from the PS3 website/ create a folder name PS3 inside of that folder create another one call UPDATE, copy the update to that folder and voila works. if you only create the folder that says update it won;t work.
WD best recomended drive 1TB the other PS3 250 GB Solid state drive that *** fly !!!
