Splendid
There are 3 chipsets that are good for gaming. There is the nforce2, the nforce3, and the currently being released nforce4. The nforce2 is cheapest, but it only supports socketA. I would recommend nforce3 250, as it supports bothe s754 and s939.
This probably wont help, as that would be for an Amd system. They are best for games.

He asked for a good chipset that wasn't too expensive. He didn't say what processor he wanted to use, nor what features he was looking for. The 430TX was superior to competing products.
