bios upgrade

I have an ASUS A7N8X Deluxe MB... The bios is Award Bios Rev 1002 beta 006.... everything seems to be running fine w/ no problems... I was told that I should look into upgrading my bios... should I upgrade or leave it be???

If it ain't broke don't fix it.

If everything is running fine then your bios is good for you. Only reason to upgrade is a performance increase or bug fix.

if you do plan to flash use asusliveupdate
you dont even have to enter bios
does it all through windows
