These are the games that put an end to survival horror like Resident Evil Series-Clock Tower Series-Silient Hill!

F.E.A.R. 2 its the new definition of "gaming fear" I only have seen gameplays in youtube, but that all i need to see how scary its this game, resident evil and silent hill are kids game compared to this excelent game.

I don't play it because i don't gonna sleep in 3 days (lol)

Fear 2 isn't that scary while playing fear 1 is better than its sequel.... dead space , silent hill, resident evil games are good for everyone ...kids are scared to play all these games...lol

Those are the Classic Survival Horror Games that paved the Way for future Pyschological Horror Genre games like F.E.A.R.-DOOM-JERICHO! Resident Evil 2 + 3 were the breakthrough in the series along with Resident Evil Code Veronica 1996-2001. I remember Dawn OF the Dead Romero's classic was supposed to be the one that paved the way for the franchise! Kinda of the Difference of Being Wesker not Romero, for example basic zombies vs. Nemesis-Tyrants-Mr.X- the (B.O.W. Projects)!

Heh, neither of these. Resident Evil, Silent Hill, Stranger, System Shock...those did. If I had to choose, it would be Doom 3 because that one was here earlier ^^

Back In the Day System Shock and Shodan were creepy games and Quake IV with augumentation and strogg!

ok agent 41 i've already played the fear series and it's true the fear 1 it's more scary game for me, to be more specific the interval 11 was so scary where alma shows every 2 minutos, fear 2 has more shooting action (best game ever)

I still like Amnesia, it's nothing new towards horror genres, but it's still great.
The best part is how it starts off, not so scary.

The genre goes a very long way back to games such as Waxworks or Veil of Darkness. Later there were games from Alone in the Dark series and many more.
