Ok, I am about to build a new PC for gaming, I know what I want and how to do that aspect of the project. Mainly my questions pertain to eyefinity.

I want to game across three 23" touch screen acer monitors. I want to game at 5940x1020.

Games:
Call of Duty 4
Call of Duty Modern warfare 2
Grid
Dirt 2
Iracing
WoW
Bad company 2
The list will grow I imagine.

AS a person who never has gamed on PC other then WoW on 1 monitor, I want to know if I can set up eyefinty to have one app per monitor for normal things, and use all 3 monitors as 1 for gaming, because I dont want to maximize an app and have it span all 3 monitors. But I do want my games to span across all 3 monitors.

Also I dont want to run crossfire, so will a 5770, or 5870 do the trick? I can care less about maxing out AA/AF.

Please gamers and people with 3 monitor eyefinity, chime in with opinions.

Thanks,
Shannon

yes, a single 5870 will work (that is what i have)

you wont be able to max AA though

it is difficult to run an app per monitor in eyefinity, but you can set hotkeys to switch between eyefinity and extended desktop

Thanks for the input. Do you use eyefinity? I would like to know how well eyefinity works with ultramon. I use ultramon with dual monitors and it is very cool.
