I am not on auto pay but was wondering if I wanted to send in a check to cover
a couple of extra months, would my Verizon account show a credit and my next
bill just be deducted from that credit so I would not have to worry about that
months bill? Has anyone done this? Thank you

Any excess payment is recorded as a credit and will be applied to the next
bill. Even though I can access and pay my bill online. I have "paid in
advance" when I'm going on vacation. (When I do that, I usually pay more
than I believe will be due... just to be on the safe side.)
