Gigabyte Sound Volume

I built a PC with a Gigabyte GA7-VT600 MOBO. The onboard audio speaker sound is minimal (headphones are marginal, but teens would like them louder), even after adjusting all of the mixer controls in the supplied software. Is there some way of diagnosing the MOBO to determine if the audio is being properly processed? Thanks.

type in: dxdiag and give it a shot.

I have this mobo and don't seem to have a problem. Course I have shooty speakers with it.

Not saying you don't have a problem..just that whatever drivers and updates I'm running do not seem to have problems.
