ADOM for Windows 7

I want to play ADOM on my Windows 7 laptop, but every time I try and run either beta, it just closes when I go to generate my character. This is the case with either beta for windows. ADOM 1.1.1 won\'t even run, due to some error about not being compatible with a 64 bit version of windows.

If you have Windows 7 Pro or Ultimate, try installing XP mode and run it through that. That's what I do when I get an itch to play a Rogue-like or MUD that doesn't like to play nice on Windows 7.
And if you dont have a version of Windows 7 that is allowed to run XP mode, you can try Virtual PC, VMware, or some other emulator, but youll need your own copy of Windows XP in that case.
