Hi there. I am installing Win95 on an old 486sx win 16MB ram for someone. It has finished the first part of the installation and it restarted and then just gives me: A fatal exception 0D has ocurred at 2F2E:00001667, when it has restarted and when it's still before the part where it detects PnP stuff etc.

If anyone can help me here, plz lemme know - Is it an memory error, hardware error etc. any help, lemme know

thx

BIOS to defaults?

Oh yeah, remove any cards (PCI or ISA) that can be dispensed with until Windows is installed.

Plug them back in after.

I've only got Display card and controller card in. And Bios is set to default. I can't find anything particular to change their that would help. Maybe I should try another display card? Don't have any other controller cards...
