What gives? Last week after a lot of research I got two LG VX4600 phones for
my wife and I.

This week, the phone vanishes from the VZW site without a trace!

Is there something wrong with this phone I should know about or is this
VZW/LG is some kind of hissy fit?

Anyone know anything?

I'm amazed how much people read into the disappearance of phones from
VZW's Web site.

I think at least some of this may be stock issues - i.e. the phone is
out of stock. It may be something else. And at least much of the
time, a phone may disappear in one region of the country, and still
show up in other regions...that was the case with the V710 earlier
this week.

It may not indicate at all that VZW has stopped selling the phone for
good.

I entered a Zip Code for the Midwest and VX4600 is still in VZW's website
for that region.

My local VZW store stopped selling the 4600 about 6 weeks ago. No reason was given.
