Keyboard lag or malfunction during Gameplay.

When I play doom 3 or oblivion, I use WSAD keys to move. it seems when i hold down these keys they randomly unlock and i stop moving. to move again i have to repress the said key. why is this happening? also it seems to happen when the game is loading an item of data.

i should also add that i have windows 7

also this didnt happen when i had xp hahaha.
