had a gigabyte 8knxp that broke yesterday and now im going o buy a new one.. im thinking of an a-bit ic7-g or is7-g. im wondering if my raid0 array that i made will be compatible with the new mobo, anyone know?
Only if it has the same RAID-controller and even then I think succes wouldn't be guaranteed. Don't have any experience on this, but a lot of others will tell you more.
Im assuming you are using RAID via intels ICH5r correct? (Most 865/975 boards use this controller but some also have extra SATA raid controllers). If this is the case your RAID array should work fine in another system since the RAID controller its self is built into the chipset and the chipset is identical for all 865/875 boards.
