Hi there wanted to get some people opionions on this board. Anyone out there have this board besides me & have you had any problems or luck in overclocking it. Any experiences welcome to share. Thanks Smoke.

I had version 1. 2.8C @ 3.4ghz most of the time. Ran good at 217mhz with PAT. Above 217mhz it goes away. Be aware that 875 boards can be very picky with RAM.

I bought this board pretty much when it first came out before the whole issue about the software overclocking which didnt really make me happy to find out. You are sure right on the ram compatability kinda funny actually I try it one way & it wont work I switch dimm positions & presto.
Can you recommend a brand. The thing is I am thinking about upgrading my cpu (2.5 533mhz) to something with the 800fsb now im not exactly sure on how this works do I just need two dimms of 400mhz?? or can I use my current ram two 512mb 266mhz? I would like to get faster ram as I am sure it is much faster.

1 gig 266mhz ram
Gyg 6600gt 128 agp
WD 80g 7200 8mb cache not sure if special edition
WD 40g not sure of specs
AN truepower 450ps
SB audigy gamer, but useing onboard 97 cant get the SB to work for all my channels

I had real good luck with OCZ on this board. I have a hunch it might like Crucial Ballistix too. It will HATE Mushkin. It will love a 3.0C P4. To tell ya the truth, I would E-Bay it and get an IS7. But that's just me. Only so much aggravation I can take.
