Trouble Overclocking the ic7 max3

Hey,
Did or does anyone else have trouble overclocking this board, it seems to be very unstable for me, my cpu temps are around 45 idle and 55 load for my prescott 3.0, But as soon as i raise the fsb even 1 it wont start and i have to reset the bios. anybody have any tips?

i have pc4000 ram made by a company called ultra.. the timings are 3-4-4-8. i have a different hsf than the intel one, i dont remember who makes it, but it dropped my temps 7 degrees so i dont think it can get much better. i dont think that explains why it wouldnt even let me raise the fsb up 1. any more ideas?
