ThinkPad 1400i 2611-411 The small fan behind the grille on the left side never goes on. Now, I don't know if it only does so if overheating starts happening, OR, is it supposed to be running constantly like the p/s fans in regular pc boxes?
It should switch on when the system heats up. If the underside of the comp gets EXTREMELY hot yet the fans aren't on it could be a problem. <A HREF="http://www.folken.net/myrig.htm" target="_new">My precious...</A>
