XBOX 360 Daisy-Chain Switch

Hello,
I've got my main switch that feeds the entertainment room using a single cable. I'm trying to place another switch in the entertainment room and connecting the XBOX, Blu-Ray and Sat receiver to the switch. The XBOX 360 works directly connected to the the cable but won't when connected to the switch. The Blu-ray and Sat receiver will work with the switch.
Any idea why the XBOX won't work when connected to the additional switch? I'm using the default settings on all the equipment
