doom3 1.1.1282 gethostname error, FC3, 2.6.9 kernel

Hi everyone,


Just did fresh install of FC3 and got the 6629 nvidia drivers installed as
well. Using a stock 2.6.9 from www.kernel.org (stock FC3 gave too much
grief with video drivers) Well, I got everything set and working is the
main thing. Did a fresh install of doom 3 using the id games installer.
When trying to run, I get this error in terminal

Anyone run across this yet? Seems like no matter what, I'm not getting
anywhere. If anyone has a clue, I'd love to hear it.
