I have Abit AI7 Guru + PIV2,8E + Kingston 512MB + WinXP SP2 + ATI Radeon 9200. The problem are cyclic slowing downs occuring in games (newer than 1999),animations (Flash), films (more than about 200x200 px) jumpings (time shifts). Lately I've noticed this slowing downs occure when POST led number changes from 26 to 23 (or 22 - I can't see, it's very fast). What to do? Is it a hardware conflict or anything else? Help!!! I can't stand that such a fast computer can't fluently play films!

Aprox. temperature values are:
CPU: 55 C deg
North Bridge: 35 C deg
PWM: 55 C deg,
so it can't be cooling problem.
It's rather hadware. I am sure it is not RAM, beacuse I've tried another memory.
Win reinstallation won't help as a problem has gone on since first comupter start (and built).

You should check idle temps and load temps. I think its hardware malfunction but maybe under stress the temp goes too high although I doubt it.
