Wasn't sure where to post this, figured mobos would be the closet match.

My firewire is suddenly acting a little strange. For some reason, it will no longer detect my DV camera when hooked up. The same ports detect my external firewire hard drives, so its not a port problem, and I've tried multiple ports and even daisy chaining through my externall HDDs. I tried a different cable, so its not a cable problem. It worked last time I tried the camera... so I don't know what happen there. I have tried restarting the comp.

Any ideas as to what is wrong? I don't think the firewire hardware on the camera end went bad to you suppose? I haven't had a chance to test this on another computer. Any thoughts? Is there somewhere I can update my firewire drivers at, or...?

Thanks,

Dan
