Wuw, wuw, buddy, take the caps off.
Have you tried checking if it's a mechanical problem by running a printer check since you say it "fails to put out enough ink"?

All caps is the computer equivalent of screaming at someone. Very poor thing to do when asking for help. You can use a Q-Tip with some isopropyl alcohol to gently scrub around various parts of a printer for cleaning. You'd be amazed how much ink you can get out of an old printer. Speaking of which, how old are your printer and ink cartridges? Might just be time for a refill/replacement.

Computer Etiquette and Protocol.

Gotta be careful with the qtip. If you manage to leave any cotton on the nozzle, you're in for problems. A soft 'sponge' qtip is a little safer, and can be found at the local drugstore or inside a VCR cleaning kit.

have you used any of the epson clone cartridges these are not only less expensive but also "cheaper" and have been known to give problems. Consider a printer such as HP or Lexmark, each new cartridge comes with a new printhead so blocked nozzels are less bother.

You are here for a good time not a long time
