ZD8000 TV question

I am considering this machine. What I want to know is, if I want to view
DirecTV through it, do I have to hook it up via a coax cable, or is there a
way to do so via wireless connection? I'd like to be able to sit in my
bedroom, on the porch, etc., and view all my TV channels via this machine.
But it seems that if I have to hook this up with a coax cable, it defeats
the usefulness advantage. After all, I already have a TV hooked up to my
sat box, so why would I need to hook the laptop to it as well?
