Good question, it seems that only Nvida and ATI cards are listed as
suggested video cards for games these days.
I've had several Matrox cards in the past, great with PhotoShop BTW. But I
dropped the line do to poor OpenGL support which I required with LightWave.
My conclusion is that Matrox is fine with 2D graphics but I'd seek another
solution for 3D graphics.
