What to expect 1st boot after upgrade?

I have just completed the "physical" aspects of my first Motherboard upgrade. I am going from Athlon XP (Asus A7V333)to Athlon 64 (Asus A8V Deluxe).

I don't know what to expect when I first try to power on. I am expecting to have to reload the Operating system, but will I be prompted to insert my Windows XP CD?

If you are using the same harddrive, the PC will atempt to load windows and blue screen and reboot. You need to try a repair install, or better still a complete reinstall of Windows.
