When i run the game (starcraft2) my monitor black out displaying signal frequency out of range. but i can hear the sound, i guess problem is due to its default refresh rate or resolution. i have reinstall the game n update my drivers but nothing seem to work, is there any way i can change the resolution without running the game? my current windows resolution is 1280X1024 with 75Hz. N its Model is Mitsubishi Diamond Plus 93SB.

In your documents folder, there should be a folder called Starcraft II. Inside is a file named variables.txt. You should be able to edit the resolution manually from there.

I'm sure mine had entries for the screen res as well, will go have a look, then you can add them manually.

I can't access my home PC at the moment. I will look for the entries that control resolution and tell you what they are.

Found it!

Add the entries:
height=xxxx
width=yyyy

where xxxx and yyyy are the values you want.

I'm guessing it only adds the entries to the list once you make changes to the default resolution.
