have got a copy from a magazine and was interested in trying it as a dual boot with xp.anybody tried this os and have any good or bad stories about it.i assume that it will take the software installed on comp for graphics and broadband etc.or will ineed to reinstall everything into the linux folder.is this system as secure as is mentioned.thanks for all advice given.

i have now made a dvd of the suse iso but it wont boot machine.however if i boot machine with an older cd withcdrom drivers ican then put in the dvd and get a directory of suse on it.also i cannot see whats on the dvd in my computer as it says disk either corrupt or using a format which windows cant read.any help please.

You have to make the dvd bootable. Figure that out and you'll be off.

Just download the suse dvd iso. It should be avaliable for free online. Any iso you download will be bootable.
