looks like it has finally arrived:

http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProduct.asp?submit=property&DEPA=0

I am using the K8T800 chipset. it maxes out at 2 gigs of ram. The Asus board at newegg posted above says it supports up to 3 gigs. do you think that is 3 gigs at DDR400 or 333??

you know, I kinda doubt it will get SLI support. But it wouldn't be a bad move. I mean with plenty of Video RAM on the combined cards, you could have the processor concentrate mainly on the game's AI.

From what I know, it's the newest technology for video cards. I believe there was PCI cards, then 2x agp, 4x agp, 8xgp, and now 16x PCIe, but supposedly I think games haven't taken full advantage of the 8x agp, but with PCIe you can go SLI with socket 939. I could be wrong though and someone may want to clearify that.

Somthing like that. They work just like PCI except with its own dedicated pipes for more bandwidth!
