MB compatibility

does anyone know if Patriot PDC21G4200+XBLK 1GB RAM is compatible with the Asus P5WD2 Premium 955X board?

That board uses DDR2. The Patriot XBLK RAM you listed is DDR and won't work.

Um, it appears to be DDR2-700.

You are correct - it's DDR2. I'm so used to looking at the DDR XBLK, that I missed the difference in model numbers. It should work with that mobo.
