STOP THE DAMN SEARCH BEFORE POST CRAP!

A) I notice that no one is really doing it, is it just an inside joke now? Hell, some ppl even fight over who started the subject first... so get over it! The REAL forum mod already has this information built into the CREATE A POST page (see below). If anything you ppl are only wasting bandwidth and space as these forums can go slow as it already is!

How do you know no one is searching? No it isn't an inside joke, and we aren't trying to force everyone to search. I just wanted to make people aware of the option. People that click to make a new post probably aren't going to search, they are halfway to making there post. I've already PM'd <b><font color=red>Fredi</b></font color=red> about this and he's looking into other solutions. So really what's up with you guys? Why is it such a big deal to you that someone merely reminded people of the search option.

Well it's made clearly aware when actually posting as I pointed out. Having it posted in every forum and then bumping it time and time again on a daily basis is adding wasted space and bandwidth to servers that still need improving. Unlike jiffy though I do not think you're thugs. Wanting to make the forum better is your own business, and is admirable. But the search thing daily is distracting to me and possibly to others, as it was mentioned some have voiced negative opinions about it. As well it seems useless when the post page already mentions this information.

The reason we bump it is so the new users will see it. We are just trying to keep it in the top 10 (cause that's what most new users are set to view). It is a bit redundant but not totally. The mention of search is after you've already decided to post, most people will go ahead and post and not search.

What can I say, accept I agree with everything you said. I also feel the<font color=red> search thing daily is distracting to me and possibly to others,</font color=red> and I know I wasn't helping.

And
<font color=red>as it was mentioned some have voiced negative opinions about it.</font color=red> including me, which raised a stink about it, and under the circumstances how many other were going to step forward and say anything?

I raised my stink, and now I am finished.

You bump your post quicker then it needed to be, to be in the top ten. One of your reason was to tick me off. If you want to deny that, then ok, you didn't. Either way it takes more then that to upset me, and yes I still don't support your post. Others have spoke against it, but that doesn't seem to be enough for you to pull back, and yet you still push harder. Any message I was trying to relay, you simple refuse to hear. I wasn't perfect myself, but did have good intention, just as you feel you do.

You know how I feel and a few other, about your search before you post. So it's up to you to continual, if you really think that is best. I'm finished with it.

Out side of that no hard feelings on my part.
