hi i`m thinking to buy a nforce chipset mobo and also use it with ati graphics card. ive heard that sometime ati cards may cause a problem with amd cpu`s, well what about ati with nforce motherboard?

I agree with wusy.
I've been using a 9600XT with nF2 Ultra and never had to cross my fingers for them to work together.
It wouldn't be in nVidia's (nor ATI's) interest to provoke issues with each other's solutions with their chipsets.
SLI and Crossfire are another issue.
