The last PC I built was my current 1.33 T-Bird, so as you can expect I am way overdue for a new build.

I have not kept up with all of the 'detailed' hardware specs and have only a basic knowledge of what is currently accessible.

I currently have a spare tower that I will be using, as well as a 80gb SATA drive(Likely will upgrade later, but not a necessity at the moment)

Basically, the only parts I need are what are listed below.
I have scoured a number of sites and tried to find the best solutions, attempting to keep price as low as possible.

I do play games, so this has been a factor. I also plan to overclock at some point(Though not immediately) and will upgrade the Heatsink/fan later.

I would appreciate any comments/concerns about the items I have listed. If you can suggest something better, I am all ears..

I used newegg links as a reference point.

Thanks in advance!

I did find a number of posts comparing the Epox board and the DFI Lan party. The price isn't really a worry I just liked the fact that the Epox had one more PCI slot than Lan party.

Is the Lan Party worth the extra few bucks and the loss of one pci slot?

Other than that, any other suggestions to the build?

Again, thanks for the input!
