Hi there,

Hope someone can help. I have a Gigabyte GA-K8VM800M motherboard which has Realtek ALC655 surround sound output. Is it possible to configure it such that rather than giving surround sound (ie, six channel) output I can get three sets of stereo (front) outs? I want to set it to go to my TV, my stereo and a second TV (this is a multimedia box running Windows Media Centre Edition). Can the current driver do it, or is there an alternative driver I can use?

Many thanks

Jon

I don't think the driver can do that configuration. I've had some success using signal splitters, but you could have problems. Still, 3-headphone splitters are cheap enough that you wouldn't loose much money by trying one.

Yeah I know I can do that but I was trying to avoid degrading the signal.

Does anyone know of an "unofficial" driver which'll do it?

Thanks all
