Recently the computer just started to randomly lag, and spike in the menus, battles, building a pylon, etc etc.
Before I could play Sc2 on all ultra settings, while streaming, and not lag 60+ fps. Now it jumps from 20-50 on high-ultra, and to stop it from doing it I have to set it to all low settings.
I tried reformatting, and that didn't help at all.
Also one of the maps was distorted once when I played it, and another time stalkers "lasers" never actually visually came out shooting anything.
Also, I get the spikes in low settings as well, I'll have 200+ fps on low, but it will spike ~50 fps at a time
What do I need to try/do?

You may want to check Gpu temps while running Starcraft 2, A lot of users have claimed that starcraft 2 has an over heating bug which has been damaging Gpus. I don't know how valid these claims, I'm pretty sure if there was a problem blizz would have fix'd it by now. Maybe try Upgrading Direct x9 and/or your Gpu Drivers
