Bad Company 2 Graphical Problem

Hello, I recently started up Bad Company 2, and when I joined a server most of the objects/guns/players were completely saturated with different colours, I also had some artifacts come up aswell. The problem is, I already updated my drivers to the latest (10.9) and it still gave me the problem. I then tried to roll back the drivers to 10.7, 10.8 and 10.4 but with no success. Any suggestions on how to fix this?

XFX Radeon HD 4650 1GB
2.3Ghz AMD Quad-core
4GB RAM
500w PSU
XP SP3 32bit

I ran into this problem once myself.

As generic and/or simple it may sound, make sure you try updating the game first. It is completely possible to bypass the updater to launch the game. Try launching the updater by itself. It should be located in the same folder that the main executable is in.

When I had this problem, I thought I had the newest patch (as I patched like a day before) but it seemed there was another patch since then.
