also would not use upgrade unless you got a lot of data you don't want to lose, fresh install is better, you won't drag any of Vista's issues/faults into your 7 installation

i always recommend a fresh install.
You can use a Win7 upgrade disk, and serial key to do a fresh install. Just create a second partition on your hard drive, install win7, and then transfer all your important files from one OS to the other at your leisure. Its what i did.

Hi melmelan,

No guarantees that the upgrade will fix the crashing issue, but it should as OneNote is fully compatible with Windows 7. I agree with others that a clean installation is the way to go. I'd also recommend running the Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor to make sure your tablet is ready to run Windows 7.
