Why are you telling me this? I can't even afford a 19" flat monitor! Let's be practical... I don't know why Samsung is releasing this product I'm not sure if the market demands it.

This site is cool.

A few weeks ago it was $6700 street. $8000 retail.

Kind of puts a damper on your enthusiasm, huh?

I like - but don't start me!

I was looking at the SGI 1600x 1024 seems to be around ~ $1500 or a bit less. Anyone got any comment?

I have a 1600sw, and a vp181 by viewsonic, and I would trade them both for the samsung, it costs about the same as the samsung when I got them, $2500 for the sgi, and $3100 for the Viewsonic.

The plasma screen monitors are blurry, and the pixel size if huge, so if they can sell plasma's they can sell this..

If you want to talk about the 1600sw ( I have the grey and the Artic versions, one home 1 at work) Email me rvnmojo@yahoo.com
