Greetings,

I am planning on subscribing to a cable modem internet service. They offer to rent the cable modem to the customer, but I'm not sure if that's the best value. Would it be more adventageous to simply buy my own cable modem, or rent from the company?

It is cheaper to get your own Cable modem. I get my cable modem for $70. It pay for itself in 14 month.
