Scanjet 4070 and Precision Scan Pro

Gang,
I have a ScanJet 5300C that I have been running Precision Scan Pro (PSP)
when scanning. This scanner died and I bought a Scanjet 4070. I HATE THE
SOFTWARE. You can't even give a scan a name at the time of scanning. I
want something like PSP if not it. PSP is twain software the 4070 is a
twain scanner. Why won't they work together. I don't even see in this
"new better application" that I can save a vector version of the scan.

Is there any help????
