Hi. Just wondering if anyone can give me advice on what S939 AGP mobo would be a better choice for gaming out of these 2 listed. thanks :)

Gigabyte K8NS Ultra OR Asus A8V Deluxe

ps. use a 256mb FX5700 AGP vid card

Giga - nForce is the best chipset for the A64 s939.

I'd worry more about that video card - that will be your bottleneck.

I agree with the gigabyte and with the videocard being the bottleneck.

i just got an abit ax8 k8t890 about a week ago.. so far its worked out pretty good for me. the included guru utility lets you overclock your system through a windows program.

labbby how can you tell how many posts everyone has?

My PC:
Abit AX8 Socket 939 VIA K8T890
AMD Athlon 64 3200 Winchester
Sapphire Radeon X700 Pro 256 Mb PCIe
WD Raptor 37 Gb SATA
Corsair 2x512 PC3200 DDR Dual-Channel Platnium Edition

The Forum FAQ has the numbers it takes to reach a certain title...
